Sandra Cramer
M.HK DO(mp) DACNB DC (St Kitts & US)
Sandra Cramer began her interest in neuroscience while studying biopsychology. Biopsychology is the study of brain and behavior and this is where she earned a four year Bachelor of Science. This is a science degree that looks at the specific areas of the brain involved in different behaviors and personality. She then continued onto a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology and Kinesiology. During this time her focus was on the effects of the vestibulo-sympathetic system, and cardiac rehab.
Her interest include bridging together physiology, biomechanics, and neuroscience. She continued her education and completed another 4 years, graduating from Life University as a Doctor of Chiropractic.
Her main passion is clinical neurology and has undergone 20 years of extensive training in post graduate clinical neurology. She has successfully completed the 3 year postgraduate degree in Clinical Neurology, and successfully passed both the written and the practical, and is a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board (DACNB). She has a one year certification in Vestibular Rehabilitation and Traumatic Brain Injuries.
Her concentration has been in Vestibular Rehabilitation, Movement Disorders and Neurodevelopmental disorders, and has studied under both Dr. Carrick and Dr. Mellilo; owners of Brain Balance and the Carrick Institute.
She has 15 years of postgraduate studies in vestibular rehab and over a decade in vestibular clinical applications. She had the first Vestibular Rehab clinic in Ontario. She has a deep passion in learning and helping and continues to attend a seminar in the U.S. once a month to keep current on the most advanced research and clinical applications.
She also currently runs 2 clinics so that those seeking out her care do not have to travel as far. Her clinics are located in Ontario Canada, St Kitts & Nevis. www.stkittsrehab.com
